At last I get an update to my ADSL connection, I had 512/128 since the beginning (2001). I was one of the first to get ADSL in Mulhouse. I really had to push and push to get a modem. The frustrating point was that I saw all others getting faster and faster and me staying at 512/128. I tried several time to change but I was always said your are too far you can’t get more.

Yesterday I saw that they changed the page on which you can update your abo, then I tried for the 2000th time to update and this time it was ok for 1024/256 :-) And for the same price, cool.

Microsoft just released a beta version of a new tool called Windows Live Writer Beta 1.

Today I am working on the security of my publishing web services for the next release of Tech Head Brothers Portal. The goal is to be able to post content on the portal using THBAuhtoring (you might get the source from Codeplex) a Word 2003 solution I developed. I wanted to build my proxy class like so:

This morning I had a strange crash of ASP.NET Development Server, it is the first time that it happens and I was really stressed about it.

With debugger I got: “An unhandled exception of type ‘System.StackOverflowException’ occurred in Unknown Module.”

I have quickly posted a video showing the insertion of an image and source code using the Tech Head Brothers Authoring tool on YouTube.

This demo demonstrates offline preview and the ease of inserting images and source code in authored articles.

I just made my first checkins on CodePlex for the project Tech Head Brothers Authoring.

CodePlex is REALLY COOL, having an access to a Team Server from Visual Studio 2005 is just great. I like it very much.

It is an important date for me, because tonight the first platform built in the ecenter was switched off. For sure the end of something, but a great start for something new (1, 2, 3).

This time the targeted scenario was to implement a login the way I saw it on on10.net.

Using the Atlas Control Toolkit, I started to implement the scenario with a ModalPopup atlas control surrounding an ASP.NET Login.
